Hi Louis,
Nice photo, especially the thistle detail. Have you tried cropping so that just an inch of so of the stem is visible and moving the flower slightly off center to the right? (The insect and the stem both point to the left).

Hi Louis,
I like this better - I'd take still a bit more of the stem off and perhaps a bit of the green at the top, so you end up with a horizontal shot.
This site is a great one for getting advice and constructive criticism. I know that I've gotten a lot of help here.
