One word: Bravo!

Wonderful colors and composition - and oh, so scenic.

Where, exactly north of the Arctic Circle was this shot?

Hi Adrie,

Glad you like the pictures. A lot of people visit north Norway every year, especially in the summer time and I am sure that you will be very welcome.

Thank you Leon,

It was a wonderful day with clear sky and good light. The shot was taken from an old trading post called ?Kjerring?y? just north of Bod?. Today it is preserved as a museum. It isn?t too far from where we live and it is a popular place to visit, especially when the weather is so nice.

Thank you so much for the additional information and the link to Kjerringoy; that truly looks to be a very special place on this wonderful planet of ours.

I also checked your other uploaded photos. You have a good eye. I like many of your postings, including:

Retired
Waiting __?
Locked
Still Winter

and so many more!

Thank you Leon for the kind words.
I think that we all enjoy the challenge of photography and that is why we share our pictures on this site. Speaking for myself I am just as exited every time I get home to see the result, which many times can be disappointing. But I try to learn from my faults and it is a gratification when there are some improvement.

Best regards
Torvald
