NO SUBJECT

Quite an expressive face, but I really wonder what it was thinking :-)

Why the high ISO ?

The picture is cool, unconventional lighting with that white background.

But you could have shot the photo with a lower ISO and thereby avoided having to reduce the noise with Noise Ninja - easy to choose a longer exposure time and/or larger aperture with 1/400s and F6.3.

Graet Shot! Noise/Grain is not an issue for me for this subject matter. Hey, you got the shot, we didn't!

Well, thanks!

It was shot at a focal length of 288mm (35mm equiv), so I needed a sufficiently high shutter speed, and the lens needed to be stopped down a little both for improved sharpness and sufficient dof.. LOL, ACTUALLY it happened so fast I only had time to switch over to spot metering and shoot :-)
