Cool radiator cap. The shot would have been better if also the nose of the wolf were in focus.

Great shot. I think you got it right with focus on the eyes. Blurred nose and car creates depth and motion from front to back/left to right. The E-1 still put up with some nice tricks...

Thanks for the feedback Olav! I shot it the same way I would shoot a human, making sure that the eyes are in focus. I wanted as shallow a DOF as possible to isolate it from the background.
