Fons,

Wow, wow wow! For me this is one of your best action shots I have ever seen.
This is the type of photograph that keeps me inspired.

Kindest Regards: Peter

G'Day Fons:

Once again you have demonstrated what a good combination your eye and equipment is. Great stuff!

One question: How come the E-500 and not the E-1?

And another question: Did this image come out of the box with the background out of focus as it is (a wide-open lens - f-3.2) - or is it the result of post processing?

Ciao!

-leon

ps: The wildlife in your fair land is fortunate that you prefer shooting with cameras and not firearms!

Thanks Leon for your comment again.....
I took for particular reason my E-500 it just had the ED 50-200mm lens on it ...so grabbed it and went out with a friend shooting
The background was blurred a little in CS2 one because it was very harsh light green due of the sunlight and also to get more focal point at the Heron...

ps:
I never would shoot any animal with firearms...;-)))))

Thanks Tony,

Leon asked the same question and I replied to it :

""The background was blurred a little in CS2 one because it was very harsh light green due of the sunlight and also to get more focal point at the Heron...""

Anyway thanks for you comment and interest ..
