I suddenly had a feeling that I was being watched. This was taken on a farm on Anglesey North Wales.

I agree with the other comments. The effect comes to some part from a lower position of the photographer, I suppose. This makes it an unusual view.

The cropping is also a big part of this photo. It makes the cow look like it's looming over the photographer! Very effective work.

The low view point and centrally placing the subject in the frame works well here, you have produced an excellent shot, have you thought about doing this as a B&W?

This guy did have alot of character, it took me ages to get him this close but once he saw the grass in my hand his fear soon vanished .... lol,

Hi Steve

Glad that you like the shot, I did try taking the photo from other angles and heights, but this one worked out the best. I have a B/W version that I will post on the site as soon as I get all my other photos out there.
