March is the month between winter and spring, but maybe we first must have a new ice age? This is from a small-town named: "Arendal" which is to be found in the southeastern area of Norway...

Re: Frank...

Thank you. To spend the last of summer might be a good idea. If the Gods smile at me, I hope to be there myself the very next summer.
We already have booked for November on the MS Fram (Hurtigruten, Norway)…

Prepare for an adventure:-))
I hope the weather Gods will be a little more on your side though. We've been around the South Orkney Island since beginning of february, and it's been foggy 9 out of 10 days. South Orkneys are known to be foggy though, and probably just a quick pass om the MS Fram's route.

Take a look at my smugmug page. I've got some Antarctic galleries(mostly icebergs), and I've been to Grytviken a few times and have a few nice captures from there. www.walkon.smugmug.com

Cheers,
Frank

Re: Frank.

I looked you up on smugmug. Lovely photos of some interesting scenery. I try to read allot about Antarctica and prepare for the journey south to the ice.
Our choice is airways to Buenos Aires and so by boat to Stanly (the Falklands/Malvinas), Grytviken (South Georgia) and so to the continent and islands of Antarctica.
