10th shot of a serie of 20, to be shown as a slideshow.

During the shoting I tried out several camera settings.

Autofocus: By selecting the central autofocus sensor and by prefocussing on the whole of the birdhouse, lets you only to release the shutter to take the picture. This method gave me the best resulsts.

Shutterspeed: Was a problem. In order te reduce blur by motion the shutterspeed needed to be as high as posible. By putting op de ISO setting to 400, working with ESP light metering and then chose the highest shutterspeed did not work as well as was aspected. The sportsprogram was the best choice, leaving the ISO setting on AUTO. I stil don't understand why this works better but the shutterspeed went up over the whole range, without letting the aparture 4.5 blink in the viewfinder. Sometimes it was possible to work with 1/500 s. by 160 ISO while working with 400 ISO gave 1/320 s. under the same light condition. Exept for the still shots with the fly it was never possible to uptian a shutterspeed above 1/500 s. Using the spot setting of the lightmeter gave no improvement in both settings.

1/500 s. is too pore to reduce all blur by motion. If there is anybody who knows a way to improve this please let me know it.
