Lake Saimaa in November.

End of November - first ice is forming on Lake Saimaa the fifth largest lake in Europe. On the first half of December it used to be so strong that we could go playing hockey on natural ice and in February one can already drive a car on ice.

More photos from my last Sunday trip to Lake Saimaa in South-East Finland. This may look like a b/w photo but it is actually in "full colour". The day was rather grey like days usually are here this time of year.
