Dave I looked at your picture's again, a few shot in ISO 400 Why....The noise is to much......This deer standing still why shoot it with 400ISO please explane....

Fions, as I said in my reply to the magpie photo, I use high iso to get a fast shutter speed. Here I was handholding a 566mm lens on a subject that stood still for a moment. i wanted to shoot with a medium apeture for a bit of DOF so 400 iso was needed. to hanhold at anything less that 1/500 with this lens combunation is just asking for trouble, blurry shaky photos.
