A very nice effect you have done on this picture.
So , a good idea to link artist's work and abstract the real world.
Is it "Notre de Dame de Paris" from the bridge?

Bruno

What a shame you couldn't get all of 'Our Lady' to squeeze through your 11-22 into the viewfinder and onto the sensor of your new E-510.

So - tell us, are you enjoying your new camera?

Yes Bruno it's the Notre Dame seen from one of the many bridges.
This oriental artist made a excellent pen drawing of it...;-)
I was happy, he let me look over his shoulder and agreed that I made a images of him and his work..

Thanks for the comment ,
Best regards.........Fons

Hi Leon,
The main point in this shot is the artist who is making the drawing .
There fore I did not wanted the whole "lady" in to the frame...;-))
I have several shots where I have the total Notre Dame in the frame , will post them later.
Thanks for the comment

Best regards........

Good composition - not so good photoshopping

The composition is ruined by the silly use of Photoshop effects.
I would have preferred almost any other effect.

Sorry about that. When I see the comment on the web it seems much to harsh. I think the composition is very good. But I must explain my comment: The effect you have used is one very easy to acquire in Photoshop, and for me it distracts me from the very good image more than emphasizes the idea.
True to tell, I am not a great fan of photohsopping images at all, and prefer off camera images. But that is a politicial stand more than an esthetical.
Lastly, the idea of "papering" the image, well I must admit it is a nice one, and makes me look at your picture in a different way than I did at first.
