Shelduck
G'Day Hans:
This photo has wonderful colors and composition. I'm not familiar with this species of duck, but he's a handsome quacker and sharp as the proverbial tack, with his eye twinkling like a diamond on a black velvet pillow. Given the aperture setting (f-10), I'd expect more DOF, but actually prefer the background OOF, isolating the main subject in center stage. Nice shot!
