NATIONAL MAGAZINE CRITTERS USA!!!
We submitted a photograph of our lovely hamster "Tibble" in the "Cutest Faces" contest of "Critters USA" magazine... and she WON 2nd Place! if you ask me, she should have taken first place. She is hands down adorable! You can see the original picture in my files here: http://myolympus.org/document.php?id=7353 We are thrilled to pieces for her and my son is over the moon with pride. Tibble is 2 years old and is a spoiled rotten little hammie, but she's taking her new found fame in stride although we occasionally find her strutting around her cage wearing lots of bling and 'hamming' it up for the cameras (couldn't resist). I am just so proud that our photograph was chosen for this contest. If you go to any petsore or magazine rack that carries the Critters USA magazine 2008 edition (it's an annual, she gets to be in the mag for an entire year) you'll be able to say "HEY I KINDA KNOW THIS CRITTER!" and share in our delight. Update: On 04/16/2008, our beloved Tibble passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was more than 3 years old.
