Looking at Karin's bird I became motivated to try and shoot a flying bird as well..

Yes these birds know how to fly fast but the E-3 is doing a great job to freeze them in mid air....

Was it not an Englishman sitting on a beach during ther early part of WW2 watching seagulls when inspired to design the Spitfire from it? From this shot, little wonder it was so successful! Grab shots sometimes the best.

nice tones

lovely tones in the wings Fons, looks extremely natural to my eye. Good light is a two edge sword here as well but you have the right bits in sun and the section of wing in shadow just adds emphasis. Thanks for sharing.
