Very nice, but...

it looks like a painting. Definitely a beauful image, but looks artificial. Perhaps there is way to get a more natural looking result with different settings.

an instresting subject for HDR Lito. Overall I like the finished image but wonder how it would have looked with the trees as nice sharp silhouettes? Love the colours.

Thanks

Thanks Alfred for your comments. I admit its slightly overdone. It was a result of
being over excited on my new Photomatix Pro. Anyway, I posted the original photo
with no HDR processing for comparison.

Best Regards,
Lito

Thank You

Thanks Duncan for nice comments. I just posted the original photo
without HDR processing. Trees are in silhouttes and snow in the foreground
is barely seen.

Best Regards,
Lito

thanks

really usefull to see. overall I like your interpretation. even keeping the foreground in silhouette I would go for the same colours in the sky (grabbing the origional I ran an adjustment layer (softlight) for saturation and it looked identical to this when I was happy! Foreground had to be cropped out though as without the treatment you gave it was 'grey'. Now, I wonder what this would look like with fill flash.........thanks again for the extra efforts and sharing

Using flash to boost dynamic range is what I'm going to experiment next time.
Thanks for the idea Duncan. Best Regards, Lito
