NO SUBJECT
This shot has a DOF problem, i.e. not enough of it. Apparently not even F11 is sufficient to get the flower in focus, or perhaps the focus should have been more on the frontal part and less on the sides. You could reshoot this at F16 or higher and focus on the front part.

Depth of Field
The focus choice, whether deliberate or accidental, makes the object dynamic, even threatening, and it tends to grab the eye more than a more traditional shallow DOF.
The rules are broken here, but as artful photography, it works.
