Autumnal
Autumn colours in a thicket. It was a dull day but the colours, though muted. were quite rich. Processed here with a sort of Orton Effect (Layer, gaussian blur, overlay). I left it dark as that is how it was.

Good framing and composition. Lovely colors and atmosphere. This looks something like a painting. Nicely done.

I fully agree with Olav. It 's a very fine picture.
You were right to use this process, and I thank you to show us another way of working.
But, Mike, as a further achievement of your picture, don't you think it 'd be worth removing those little "white" spots scattered a little all over and especially onto the left part of the image, IMO, distracting ?
