Dam
I have been commissioned by PP&L to shoot a series of images of the Lake Wallenpaupack Dam In operation. The spillway gates at the Lake Wallenpaupack Dam will be opened on Monday, 9/12/11, at approximately 10AM to restore the lake's water storage capacity. The amount of water released through the gates will be controlled to approximately 2000 CFS and will continue until the lake elevation reaches 1181.0' I will be on location at 8:00am shooting from this same point of view. The shot attached is a look at the Dam from the Rt.6 Hawley side. http://www1.pplweb.com/ilwpk/cgi-bin/present_operation.plDenny G.
