Barred Owl
A barred owl peers down from a tall tree in Myakka River State Park, Sarasota, Florida. This image is a small portion that was cropped from a much larger image. In the original image the owl had "red eye" from the flash which I removed with Photoshop.

This image could be a '10', it's just that the noise and blurriness detract a bit.

Thanks for your comment Alfred. I agree that the image lacks in sharpness and is noisy. The reason is most likely that I enlarged the original image excessively. Even so, I can't say enough about how great the Olympus 70-300mm lens is. Even at ISO 400, the clarity that this lens produces is quite impressive. I going to post the original image to show how well this lens does.
