I'm just wondering how close you must have got to that fly and why the fly didn't fly away. Did you glue the fly on the leaf or did use anesthetic to freeze it ;-) ?

indeed need to be very close since I only relly with the macro lens. But the 60mm is very good lens and fast.
as usual, for this type of shot - patient is the key point; stay in place and no need to chase
