Amazing!

Detail and depth of field in this photo are amazing and the monochrome is very effective. Is this just a single exposure? I don't see any barrel distortion either. Very impressive!

It is just one exposure using the 'Art Filter', Dramatic Tone on my E-M5.

I have the same (or similar) filter on my XZ-1 and will have to play around with it more often. I think the fact that your image is a monochrome makes the use of the filter less obvious, and the virtues of this image go well beyond the use of an art filter. It's an exceptional capture. Did you shoot this in b&w or convert it in software?

The filter I used was the dramatic tone which is a b&w filter, but dramatic. I may try it on my XZ-1 too.

Dave, I played around with the dramatic filter on the XZ-1, but unlike the E-M5, it only shoots in color. I could not find any way to shoot with the dramatic filter in b&w. There is a grainy art filter on the XZ-1 and it only captures in monochrome. My Olympus E-30 has some art filters on it but does not include the dramatic tone. Interesting.
