Grasshopper

But I'm not the first Yank to note he might transition from a Cricket to a Grasshopper if he clobbers that ball which is apparently, frequently, aimed at his shins.

Nice freeze motion sports shot. I wonder if Dragonflies in flight are easier.

beautiful action-shot; the 75-300 seems to me to be a good lens.. what is your experience with it?

Thanks Scott. The 75-300mm proved to be be very useful. It coped well with mu shooting into a setting sun too - see shadows.

Thanks Juliette. Compared to your 70-30mm FT lens, this is slower maximum aperture; lacks the close focus, almost macro, capability; is smaller and lighter; focuses faster; sharper at the long end.
