relaxing after the tents have been pitched and the dinner cooked :)

More info about the lake: The Americans seeded the lake with Largemouth Black Bass. Its the only lake in the country where Philippine anglers can attempt to catch these Black Bass- one of the top freshwater gamefish of the United States of America.

I completely agree with other comments: very nice and successful shot. Are the colors completely natural or you work on them? In any case, congratulations!

It's lovely thank you for sharing this one. Are the colors natural or did you acheive them through editing?

Valorie Spencer at 19:33 CEST on 04-Aug-2005 [Reply]

Thanks Piero. Regarding the colors, I did not edit them. Thats how they came out when I took the shot. I did use the sky to "meter" the shot though.

Thanks Valerie. I used the sky to *meter* the shot. I think I manually adjusted the white balance settings when I took the shot so that the water will have the same bluish tinge as the sky. The sky though has really a lovely blue color when I took the shot.

The sky seem to turn deep blue just a little after sunset. This is evident in another picture I took: http://myolympus.org/document.php?id=2679
