Nino,
I will be frank with you; this is not a good photo. The image is overexposed, that is the sky is washed out, the colors are bleached, etc. I hope others will agree with me. Try to either meter it on the buildings or compensate the exposure. I hear E-300 is very unpredictable with bright spots, so it would be worth to experiment a bit; as bracketing etc. I see people put really great photos taken with E-300.

So you must?ve been on the boat to take an Alcatraz shot from this angle? You live in SF?

I agree with Sergey, also it would be nice to see more settings you used . This to learn from and making conlusions easyer.
