Not sure if it is a Sparrow or not Fons, but it is a great picture, I like where you have positioned the bird in the shot, it gives a good balance to the image.
Cheers Steve

So was that on the tripod? It is quite a sharp image for such a little bird. I can even see the waterdrops on the trunk of the tree. And the colors! This is great! I have not tried anything but auto so far.

*Thanks for the comment*

Hi Steve,
I am also not sure if this is a Sparrow or not.
I see lots Sparrows flying by but they all have a bigger beak, not longer but more heavier.
Maybe this is a female , they are build more delicate!
The bird was sitting on that twig and I had only one change, could not open the window any further.
Had to take the shot from inside the house and used the window frame as an armrest.
Cropped the right side because the window was showing .

Hi Ann,
Thanks also for the comment on this little fella.

Hi Sergey,
As you can read in the answer to Steve.
It was not taken with a tripod but I used the window frame as an armrest.
I am very pleased with the ZD50-200mm it gives me nice sharp and colourful pictures.
With the help off the 1.4 Teleconverter I can zoom in real close.
