Hi Marco, very interesting concept. I do find the lack of separation from background tends to make the overall effect a little flat though. . In order to give depth and shape in such a shot perhaps a reflector as a kicker, since you have used continuous light. The idea with tabletop is the effect of natural light, but this may involve a 4-hour set-up to achieve with no natural light being used and more involved then ?just for the heck of it?! I like flash for its ability to give a snap/specular light! But again interesting shot.

Hi Randall,
Thank you for your kind comment. i have seen your pictures and they are all great and very interesting. I have a reflector in mind though when i took this shot but its already 4 am and i am so sleepy so i decided just to use my lampshade.=)
anyway i am still studying how to use good lighting on stills. Thanks for the ideas and i hope i could learn more from guys like you.
Regards,
Marco
