Morning on Stanage
I set off on a dull grey morning up onto Stanage Edge with the weather forecasted to clear and bring sunny intervals, half way up I almost turned back as there looked to be no sign of a change but my perseverance was rewarded when the sun finally came out. This is a 4 shot panorama with the camera held vertically I also used a graduated ND filter to balance the brightness of the sky then stitched with Autostitch.

Very nice image, colors and composition. It gives you the feeling of amplitude. I guess the photograph is, nevertheless, a pale replica of the real thing.
I feel curious about the two stone wheels on the right. Mill stones?

Great work again Steve, your panorama shots are always a joy to look at.
The landscape is realy nice over there, and is excellent for making these kind of shots...
Well done...

Many thanks for your comments Juan, they are very much appreciated, the stone wheels are indeed millstones and walking round the area you will see many of them scattered about, it must have been a hard life carving these up here in all weathers but I suppose new technology made them redundant so they have been left and now are part of the landscape.
Cheers Steve

Thanks for you comments Fons,
I had an enjoyable morning wandering along the Edge with my camera, it made a change to have some nice light to play with, although it didn't last very long!
Cheers Steve
