Winter scene (2)

I would remove the blues from the snow (Hues/Saturation -> Blues channel). Also would lighten snow up a bit (Image -> Adjustments -> Exposure), but watch the highlights. You might want to mask the areas that get too bright out. Also, I very often add UM of at least 1px to the snow. That brings up the texture of the snow and somehow makes it look more real. The UM amount depends on the size of the image, so use it to your own taste - just what makes it look better in your opinion. Do it to the snow only, and perhaps slightly to the back trees, but not on the front ones. It will become obvious otherwise what was done.

There is an interesting geometry to the trees. Especially as the shadows intersect the pathway. You have some nice parks up there in Netherlands, :)

Thanks Sergey ,
How nice it is to have "friends" who take the time to work on a picture and show and teach me something.
I must admit , you did an excellent job on my "winter scene (2) .
Now that I see the different I am very happy with your adjustments and thank you for it.
I will try to get the same result from the original picture and will let you know how it turned out.
I am very happy with your explanation how you did everything, will keep it aside for next time...;-)
