Impressive sky Fons, the flying ducks add nicely to the shot and with the windmills, flat land and water could only mean this is taken in Holland.
Cheers Steve

Nice landscape shot. The wide angle lens works well with this composition that has grass in the near field.

Lee

Thanks Marco......

When I sneaked up to the wild Goose they took of on me.
They went in to the wetlands closer to the mills.
Every winter we have thousands of Goose coming to stay, this time I was out of luck to get them close in the picture.
Next time better I hope....

regards,

Thanks Pedro,....

Due of the clouds and sun the shadows and colors are as this.
These are typical Dutch sky's....;-)

Dramatic Sky (2)

I would slightly lighten up the horizon, just between the field and the middle bird in the air (perhaps with shadow highlights), and ever so add few notches of yellow (and perhaps red) saturation to the field (yellow channel only and mask out the grass - it is fine as is). You will see what I mean once you try it.

The composition looks very nice in my opinion, especially as the birds are flying towards the center but not there yet. I do hate those hard clipped skies though. I get those all the time :(.

And that is RAW? Would you create two images; one with good grass and the other with good sky (from the same RAW file), and then overlay them? Could be a good exercise, ;)

Thank you very much Ricardo for the comment.....

This is indeed a dramatic sky above the Kinderdijk.
It's a little town famous for the windmills very close to my home town.
