This flagged pathway is situated at Back Tor in the Peak District Derbyshire, it requires over an hours hard slog over open moor land to get to, the stone post is the access point and once on the path you can follow it for several miles in either direction, you can?t help admiring the effort that must have gone into laying it and the kind of weather conditions the people must have gone through whilst doing it, it was cold, drizzling and blowing a gale while I was up there but consider it to be 4 hours and 1/40th sec of time well spent.
