Hi Ole, I posted a new picture about this performance and I tell part of the story...
This performance was in the our botanical garden (in M?rida, Venezuela). Because you are interested in the story, then I will tell you something more about it. Firstly I do not know nothing about the script of the performance, only the name: The nature of the body, but I guess they used an old story from the spanish colony time.
The botanical Garden are in a place that are called La Hechicera (the Sorcerer), the origin of this name come from the colony times (18ths Century), the story say that once upon a time, a powerful and beautiful indian sorcerer lived in this mountains (she represented the forces of the nature). She enjoyed so much to dance freely in the nature, but she never let that nobody, any white people (the spanish conquerors), watch her sacred dances, but one day, one spanish soldier was spying her behind the trees, and she noticed him, then she ran away to the top of the mountains, and with her power she call the stormy clouds, then rained a lot, and the rivers began to over-flood, in this way spanish fortress and camps were destroyed, and a new valley was formed in this place, the last valley before climb this part of the Andean mountains. I think the young dancer represent the sorcerer and the old the nature.
