I know Peveril castle very well as it's only a few miles from my village (Hathersage) I love the low viewpoint, it makes the castle really stand out against that dramatic sky, great example of the rule of thirds composition along with excellent colours.

Great composition John. The red jumper is a nice touch!
Dark background adds drama to the castle. Well thought out. I think composition must be one of the most important requirements of a good picture. This shot certainly has it.

Nice pic John. I would clone out the red jumper if it were mine, distracts the eye a bit I think.
